Breaking: Paul Clark’s Bad Day

Filed in National by on July 14, 2008

Paul Clark has pissed off too many people and brought too much heat on the NCC by cozying up to developers in such a brazen manner.

How much heat?

Ciro Poppiti has been calling around to see if people would support him running against Clark. Poppiti’s wine importing business was bought out by the Delaware liquor distribution near monopoly, NKS, a few years ago. I don’t know what his politics are, but I know that Poppiti is very well known, well connected guy. And I know for sure that Clark pooped his pants when he heard about Ciro’s interest in his job.

ciro is a good guy, i went to high school with him and we all made fun of him when he made Lucas and he was very self deprecating about it, but we were all still very proud of him. good luck ciro

  2. hmmmm, a lot of poeple went to high school with him. Sallies had about 1200 students. He made lucas when he was at St. edmonds I think.

just what we need another movie star turned politician 🙂

Can somone tell us non-WOPS what “made Lucas” is?

  4. Disbelief says:

According to the posters at DWA, Dana has some serious scoop on this issue.

I remember running into a high-school cock-tease a little while ago and letting her know it is too late now to enjoy the nirvana that is Mount Dis. Take a lesson, Dana.

  5. G Rex says:

Jason, I think it’s like the Mafia’s Junior League or something. When you’re “made Lucas” you get to shake down the other kids for their lunch money.

  6. zing…”Lucas” the movie. Ciro was the fat, chubby, liberalgeeky sort of kid that played the tuba…

  7. liberalgeek says:

You will pay for the flaunting of the geek like that.

  8. G Rex says:

Ha ha ha, too bad for you Matthews has Delaware’s Chubbiest Blogger sewed up.

  9. Oh my…lol. Ciro Poppitti starred in one of our school plays where we had “professional actors” portray some of the roles in Babes in Toyland. I was, like, 12 or 13 and I remember him being a kind of arrogant dude.

If Dana Garrett has the scoop and it’s Bill Dunn, he’s the man I’ll be supporting. Dunn is a total activist who can rile up lots of support.

    Time for Clark to go.

  10. jason330 says:

See what I mean about Ciro being well known?

  11. By the way, I’m going to tomorrow’s council land use meeting. Wanna bet Clark doesn’t show up? Starts at 3 pm if anyone wants to join the fun.

  12. Von Cracker says:

I barely know Ciro from high school…He was a guy who got along with all the cliques.

Not sure of his politics, but I think I remember him calling the Stern show and wanting to have Gary speak at some ‘Italian Professionals” conference….

  13. Jason330 says:

did everyone here go to the same school?

  14. chubbiest blogger…I love it!

  15. Catholics rule this frickin’ county.
I am definately going for Dunn. But at least someone printing this guy’s name, I kept hearing Zero.
