Coons Leads Gordon by 30%
Right now Al is taking down the dishonest Joe Pika/NJ story on Gordon.
Here is something I didn’t know because I don’t read the dead tree edition:
– the NJ editors cut a poll showing Gordon was a non-starter but quoted Joe Pika as if he had a shot.
God, I wish we had a real newspaper in this state.
Update by Delaware Dem: I was just about to post a story about Al’s comments on WDEL. But instead I will put it here:
Al Mascitti states that Tom Gordon was the most effective county executive New Castle County ever had. And yet he would not vote for him with someone else’s finger. I think that captures precisely how I feel about Tom Gordon. Yeah, he was good. But he was also corrupt without authoritarian tendencies.

Al is saying that Tom Gordon has been consistently making politics personal. He is running against Coons because he feels Coons is his nemesis.
He’d be better off trying to become a DuPont heiress to take some revenge on Sherry Freeberry…

Is it ‘honest polling’ to have a two question poll:
1. Coons? or Gordon? (Gordon wins)
2. Gordon brings back Freeberry? *
(Coons wins by 30 pt.s).
It was a professional (DC consultants)poll of 350 people and it was designed to make the customer happy….that’s just good business practice if you want to have more polling customers.
A poll is only as good as the people who make up the questions which are derived from the customer’s info to the pollsters.
*Sherry’s return isn’t even a blip on the radar screen.
Old woman: it was Rick Jensons yellow journalism that stated on air that “Gordon would bring back Freeberry”, when I called Jenson on that lie, “he denied saying it”, as he has everytime he is challenged with his distortions.
Of course those writing on these blogs, have no clue what you have just exposed, but lets not let a few facts stand in the way of their pileon’s based on the obsessive Messcitti’s commentary.
