Candidate Forum Tonight

Mike Matthews has a post up about the candidates forum tonight in Newark.  The forum appears to be sponsored by the West Chestnut Hill Residents Association.  Looks like John Kowalko, his opponent (Gates?), the Virgin O’Donnell, Copeland and others will be in attendance.  The forum will be at the Embassy Suites (across from The Bob) at 7PM.  I’m doing penance for being away from my family yesterday, so I’m not going.

    “the Virgin O’Donnell”

Just curious why that seems to irk you and others so much around here?

  2. Her 40 years of virginity is anfront to God’s plan.

  3. Raisa Heckle

    How?

And be careful….I heard thunder rumble when you typed “God’s plan.” I think if Donviti had typed it there might be a cleanup on aisle 6……

  4. I wanted to call in and ask that question when she and Rick Jensen were on together…..

    Here…

Christine: when you last ran two years ago, your proudly acclaimed you were a virgin… But this time around, you have been strangely quite on the subject…. Inquiring minds want to know. Has something important happened between now and then? Of course I’m not trying to pry, but your silence on this topic, for both males and females, kind of drives all other pieces of your platform to the basement until this question is answered.

Nothing like a bunch of liberals fawning over a pretty conservative girl they can’t get.

Ahh….that old mindset….”If I can’t boinck her, I hope someone else really gives her a rogering!”

At least if her signs go missing, we’ll know what happened to them….can’t say they’ll want them back however…..

Christine and Sarah are soul sisters!

    Unlike yours….

  8. I attended this evening and Christine O’Donnell made a statement that seemed to imply that the major reason Soc Sec may be in a long term funding problem was waste and fiscal abuse. I am no economist ,but I have read repeatedly the problem is too few workers will be paying in to the system to support too many retirees and a primary reason for this is too many baby boomers had too few children to replace them in the work force ( as well as too many jobs outsourced overseas and lost to automation).

  9. Yes, John, that is the reason. But Christine swore an oath to say waste, fraud, unions, welfare queens or ACORN are the cause of every problem.

Christine O’Donnell has never, to my knowledge, claimed to be a virgin. She claimed to be chaste. If you don’t know the difference, look it up.

What has disappeared is her online treatise on the horrors of masturbation. It used to be among the first things that came up when googling her name.

  11. I thought she said “chased” and I assumed that she meant “by Mike Matthews.”

  12. OK, Al. I looked up chaste and there may be some wiggle room, but not much.

Definition #1 is innocent of unlawful sexual intercourse. This is the wiggle room. I’m not sure what sexual acts are technically illegal in Delaware, but it is pretty broad. By this definition, Bill Clinton may have been chaste, depending on the laws of DC…

    Definition #2 is Celibate.

    #3 and4 seem a bit contrived.

Chaste primarily implies a refraining from acts or even thoughts or desires that are not virginal or not sanctioned by marriage vows.

I guess it depends on what the definition of is is.

What has disappeared is her online treatise on the horrors of masturbation.

So she has changed her position on masturbation?

sounds like a flip-flop to me.

too few workers will be paying in to the system to support too many retirees

The answer is self-evident. We need to expand the funding base, and stop trying to pay for Social Security only from the wages of the middle and lower economic classes.

  15. Al Mascitti

My point was that you don’t have to be a virgin to be chaste.

  16. So she has changed her position on masturbation?

Is it wrong for me to be reading this sentence over and over again?

  17. Is it wrong for me to be reading this sentence over and over again?

If it’s wrong, then may you never be right again.

Did she really change her masturbation position? Or is that only in Mike Matthew’s mind?
