Team Moves Forward With McNabb
One day after removing Donovan McNabb as the quarterback at halftime of the loss in Baltimore, head coach Andy Reid couldn’t have been more emphatic about this decision to go back to his veteran against the Cardinals on Thanksgiving night. “Donovan McNabb is the starting quarterback,” said Reid, adding that the quarterback’s supporting cast must also play better.

I wonder if McNabb has some dirt on Big Red to keep him playing. Any one care to make a totally baseless assumption on what Mr Chunky soup is blackmailing Andy with? (and no blackmail is in no way meant to me racial.)
    *cough times yours cough*

I think they both know that McNabb will be unemployable next year unless he puts up soem decent numbers.

This is an audition for McNabb, so I expect he’ll play okay next week.

What got me is that Andy Reid just plain didn’t have the balls to tell Donovan McNabb personally that he was being benched yesterday; he had an assistant coach give him the news.

It was a no-class, gutless move.

I was dumbfounded when I heard that.

What a weak fool Reid is.

This has been a pretty average team since the Super-bowl year. I wonder if Jeff Lurie will have an underling fire Andy Reid.

    Thank God for the Phillies!

my poll vote was Lurie because he hasn’t fired big red yet.

What’s the point of firing Andy Reid in the middle of the season? How often does that ever work out well?
