Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving to all our friends and readers out there. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, so I won’t give your politically correct history about Pilgrims killing Indians or the wholesale turkey holocaust that takes place every year. Indeed, I like eating turkey. Besides, what good are they but for eating. They don’t fly. They aren’t intelligent. So have another turkey leg!
On another note, at the “Airing of Grievances” meeting last night, I was informed for the first time that the Delaware Liberal quarter logo did not go over well initially for Jason since the state quarter series was one of the few ideas our beloved Congressman Mike Castle dreamt up in his long tenure in Washington. So in that vein, I will be designing a new logo to be used once we launch Delaware Liberal 3.0 in January.
I liked the irony of the logo.
This Thanksgiving I am thankful for all my fellow liberals, progressives, and Democrats – but more pissed off than ever about all the empty headed greedy losers who wrecked this country.
So Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who yearns for a more prosperous, and just country.
In the play 1776, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and John Adams are musing about what kind of bird would symbolize the new America. Mr Jefferson said, “The Dove,” my great-great-great-great-great-grandfather John Adams said, “The Eagle,” whilst Benjamin Franklin voted for “The Turkey.”
Here’s the YouTube. Too bad I don’t have the access to embed the code for the video.
Happy Thanksgiving to one and all! Carpe Diem!
Happy Sad Turkey Day, folks!
