    Other than “this is a center right country,” there is really not an organized GOP talking point effort right now. With respect to the Blago scandal, the Rethugs are in disarray.

    I just read that the GOP is bringing back some oldies but goodies.

    “Welfare Reform” & “Balanced Budget Amendment”

    The second is hilarious given Bush’s tenure of 1) crazily unbalanced budgets and 2) wiping his ass with the constitution.

    I am sure the GOP is not including corporate and CEO welfare in their definition.

    And as long as you borrow uncontrollably you can balance the budget while still increasing the deficit.

    So I am glad to see that Republican pandering is still alive and well……..

    Union workers make Eleventy billion dollars an hour.

    Another ruse against simpletons for the sole purpose as cover for one of the southern states’ major benefactors, the union-less Japanese auto makers. But hey, if they swallowed Palin hook, line, and sinker, then why not try again?

    I read that Republicans are actually going to bring up Elian Gonzales at Eric Holder’s confirmation hearing. Talk about a blast from the past! Do the Republicans realize that most people supported giving custody to Elian’s surviving parent?
