Wait till you bring a complaint about not getting your insurance claim paid; will make that stuff look reasonable. “What am I going to believe? Some nonsense on a written contract, or the nice insurance company who paid for a schweeet inaugural ball at Hotel DuPont?”

The misspellings are coded messages to our new Chinese overlords. Tom Wagner knows this.

Sorry about that….guess I got a little carried away. Elliott is definitely confused, though, and no one believes KWS really speaks Mandarin, anyway. We all heard her inane comments on Allan Loudell’s show. Enough said.

Rock-Has there been a misunderstanding? Maybe not speaks Mandarin, but EATS Mandarin, as in prefers over Szechuan. Which means reads the menu, and then orders General Tsao Chicken, or PuPu for Tu, and that was the spoken Mandarin. For your consideration….and the readers. Wouldn’t want a rumor to go wild from here….No way! Sigh rah nar a!

Funny, I speak Mandarin – and General Tso’s actual name is Cao Cao (Tsao Tsao in old Wade-Giles spelling) from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

There’s a saying that goes, “Shou dao Cao Cao, Cao Cao jiu dao” which means literally the same thing as “speak of the devil, and he will appear.”

G Rex: Could you please go see KWS and speak to her in Mandarin, then report back about how much of it she understood, copy to Elliott Jacobson. Thanks for your help.
