The Trouble With Bushie

Filed in National by on December 29, 2008

This is a bit geeky, but today is the anniversary of the first ariring of The Trouble with Tribbles, one of the most famous episodes of the original Star Trek.

If having being inundated by tribbles was the biggest problem Bush left us with, I’d be a much happier man.

Rob, I’m sorry if the title of this blog, Delaware Liberal, confused you.

    LOL@nemski!

At least Tribbles are cute, and make soothing cooing noises.

The “trouble” with tribbles was a solid case of the laws of unintended consequences being enforced universally. The tribbles ate up all the grain, leading to many unfortunate, unintended consequences. Kind of like Bush admin policies to eat up all the (red state) grain for mandatory ethanol. The price of food multiplies like tribbles, etc. All in all, not a bad analogy. Good post, Nemski.

The tribbles are Credit Default Swaps.

If you shaved all the hair off the current Governor’s ass, how many tribbles could you make?
