If the Economic Recovery Act had set aside money for a 20,000 foot statue of Ronald Reagan numb-nuts like Hube would have had such a boner for it.

Jason, I guess you won’t be a fan of Senate Concurrent Resolution 2 that just passed in Dover.

  2. jason330 says:

Yeah. No, not a huge fan.

  3. RSmitty says:

Not a huge fan of SCR2, either…I’m not into that idolatry fru-fru. Not a single vote against it, too! Of course, if any did vote against it, oh the wingnuttery for doing so.

  4. anon says:

Blogs should make Feb. 6 a Day Of Education about the Reagan legacy.

BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the 145th General Assembly of the State of Delaware, the House concurring therein, that February 6, 2009 is hereby designated as “Ronald Reagan Day” in Delaware, and we urge all citizens of Delaware to recognize this event and participate fittingly in its observance.

  5. can we get someone to stand behind a curtain and sell guns illegally why the children learn?

  6. pandora says:

Now see, Jason, all this time you held the key for getting the Republicans to sign onto the Economic Recovery Act and you didn’t share it.

  7. FSP says:

When you say “numb-nuts like John Feroce,” are you talking about the bona fide war hero John Feroce or the John Feroce who built his own business from the ground up?

  8. John Feroce says:

    Jason
Let’s just say I don’t agree with my fellow Repubs who think there’s some sort of “high road” to take with you. You’re nastiness has reached levels that require a punch in the fucking mouth (go ahead DV insert Grrrr in here), I don’t play that BS.

You think you’re cool because you can just post peoples names and say some idiotic rhetoric? You’re gonna end up in the cold real fast with your classless irresponsible punches. If you’ve found a few folks to urge you along like some high school cool guy, then enjoy the short ride, because we all know how those guys end up.

If I was Gov Markell and other elected officials I’d distance myself real quick from your lowlife antics.

The DE GOP will be bunch of losers until they realize guys like you don’t know when to stop. You’re the kid who needs a beating before he says “sorry, I didn’t know”. I won’t go to a meeting or give my party a dime until they realize that insurgents like you need to be neutralized not cuddled.

There – your ratings should go way up now.

  9. jason330 says:

    You are hilarious dude.

    Dave,

That would be the one I was calling numb-nuts.

  10. John Feroce says:

resume to resume “Dude” any day of the week.

  11. John Feroce says:

I’d verbally pummel you into the ground and wear a suit while doing it.

  12. jason330 says:

Grrr… You are a scary goat fucker Feroce. I have to give you that.

To the point of the post, you would have had a huge boner for the stimulus if it included even a 200 foot statue to Reagan wouldn’t you?

At least man up and admit that much.

  13. cassandra_m says:

A guy who cheered on Hillary Clinton for President and who thinks that Biden may have really been the 44th President really isn’t meant to be especially credible.

Except maybe on Ronald Reagan statues.

  14. John Feroce says:

“At least man up and admit that much.”

I never commented on that as far as policy. I just pointed out that an aide to the President should of course highlight points to marginalize the opposition.

I’ve always treated you and all of your contributors with respect, until such point as you start name calling. I just don’t get it.

    * Note: Does not include the Veteran’s Day response to DV a year ago.

  15. John Feroce says:

I’m sorry Cassandra your experience is what?

  16. FSP says:

“A guy who cheered on Hillary Clinton for President and who thinks that Biden may have really been the 44th President really isn’t meant to be especially credible.”

There is not one person here who has standing to charge another person with a lack of credibility. Not one.

  17. jason330 says:

You, Dave Burris, have no credibility.

    There.

  18. cassandra_m says:

    Oh yes there is.

And when you join the reality-based community you might get some credibility.

  19. FSP says:

When I sign on and agree to that which is not so, I gain credibility.

No need for a ticket to Disney World, ’cause Fantasyland’s right here, folks.

  20. cassandra_m says:

No, the day that people here can take your writing at face value without having to check the math, the timeline, the basic facts in order to correct all of that before getting to whatever point you think you’ve made is the day you make it to credible.

  21. When you say “numb-nuts like John Feroce,” are you talking about the bona fide war hero John Feroce or the John Feroce who built his own business from the ground up?

John Kerry war hero? Or John McCain shot down and crashed his 5th plane war hero?

  22. I’ve always treated you and all of your contributors with respect, until such point as you start name calling. I just don’t get it.

    * Note: Does not include the Veteran’s Day response to DV a year ago.

so then that wouldn’t be always would it.

Man, typical Politician. always is always when I make sure to exclude the time that wouldn’t make it always.

    I have never been arrested!

except for that one time when….

    you’re funny.

  23. anonone says:

    Fairly Stupid Person:

Don’t you have your own media empire that everybody reads and listens to?

If you’re so brilliant and right all the time, why are you blog posting here all day?

Nobody would miss you if you left.

  24. John Feroce says:

“If you’re so brilliant and right all the time, why are you blog posting here all day? ”

Why shouldn’t he? Seems to me that’s what you’re supposed to do. Otherwise BS goes unchallenged.

  25. also,

how do we know Ferocci is always being nice when he logs in as ANON and J sometimes?

wouldn’t being honest about who you are make that statement about “always” easier to judge?

  26. When I sign on and agree to that which is not so, I gain credibility.

No need for a ticket to Disney World, ’cause Fantasyland’s right here, folks.

    that is an interesting statement.
You don’t get to be right 1 in 10 times and gain credibility

  27. So an Obama statue or his face on Mount Rushmore is out?

  28. John Feroce says:

“how do we know Ferocci is always being nice when he logs in as ANON and J sometimes?”

BS, When? 3 years maybe ago maybe as J, before I frequently interacted with you all?

  29. FSP says:

When I go away, I still end up the topic of posts.

And Cassandra, facts? You’re HERE talking about others’ facts? HERE? Please.

  30. FSP says:

“You don’t get to be right 1 in 10 times and gain credibility”

    You’re a testament to that.

  31. FSP says:

“Don’t you have your own media empire that everybody reads and listens to? ”

No. What I have is a serious site (mine), and then a site I visit for its’ absurdity (this one).

  32. RSmitty says:

Let’s just say I don’t agree with my fellow Repubs who think there’s some sort of “high road” to take with you.

    Hmmm….

I won’t go to a meeting or give my party a dime until they realize that insurgents like you need to be neutralized not cuddled.

John…you got me wondering here. Spill it.

  33. You’re a testament to that.

woooohooo, you agree with me then.

what will you be reading tomorrow on your show?

  34. FSP says:

“what will you be reading tomorrow on your show?”

Probably something above your grade level. But I’ll try to use short sentences.

  35. frick yeah says:

I must admit. this fucking blog rocks. 🙂
