Oh and BTW…F*ck Iowa

Filed in National by on March 9, 2009

While I’m out here pissing people off maybe some Iowans (?) want a piece of me?

Read this and let’s get it on!

For Republican candidates seeking the support of right-wing activists in Iowa, who will exercise outsize influence in the presidential selection process in four years, that strategy — while not entirely defensible in the midst of an economic crisis — is understandable.

In a recent OpEd, David Plouffe pointed out that the GOP is more conservative than the nation because craven Republican politicians spend too much time kissing the mushy, white, skanky, fetid asses of crazy Iowa wingnuts.

Iowa wingnuts are messing this country up. If Iowa wingnuts didn’t have so much power this country would be much better off.

I know, they totally shouldn’t have voted for Barry in that primary. What the fuck were you thinking Iowa?

I think you missed the point intentionally, but I forgive you.

Jason330, do you need to go poop?

    I don’t get it.

Bush: “F*ck Saddam, we’re taking him out”

Maybe that quote is too obscure?

Anyway, the Dems took Iowa from red to blue in 2008.

  7. nemski says:

Usually, when my boy is cranky, it’s because he hasn’t pooped in days.

  8. anonone says:

That is more information than I need, nemski. I like cranky Jason!

  9. That point of view is very outdated. Iowa actually represents the GOP quite well. What doesn’t are the states which allow open primaries.

The top tier of Iowa is the crew that takes the nomination. No Republican has ever won the Presidency without finishing in the top 3.

  10. Shoe Throwing Instructor says:

You can rip the chidren of the corn state all you want, been there and will never return hopefully, good church suppers however.

  11. Unstable Isotope says:

I hope we can break Iowa’s stranglehold on our political process.
