The DelawareLiberal Theme Song for 2009

Filed in National by on March 27, 2009

I made an executive decision.  Someone else can pick the theme song for 2010 – but for now…you can’t dance and stay uptight!

King Harvest! (and I didn’t even google that!) I loved that song. Great pick, Jason!

Thank you. Being the first commenter means that you are the chair of the 2010 song committee.

    BTW – I love this guy’s version.

Very clever. I’m dancing in my desk chair.

Interesting version. Perhaps we can make his dance the official dance too?

I think the lyrics describe the Delaware Liberal community perfectly. Nobody here barks or bites, we keep it light, and we get it on most every night (except for Donviti, apparently).

And we like our fun and we never fight.

We get it on most every night
When that old moon gets so big and bright
    It’s a supernatural delight
Everybody was dancin’ in the moonlight

Everybody here is out of sight
They don’t bark, and they don’t bite
They keep things loose, they keep things light
Everybody was dancin’ in the moonlight

    Dancin’ in the moonlight
    Everybody’s feelin’ warm and right
It’s such a fine and natural sight
    Everybody’s dancin’ in the moonlight

We like our fun and we never fight
You can’t dance and stay uptight
    It’s a supernatural delight
Everybody was dancin’ in the moonlight

    Dancin’ in the moonlight
    Everybody’s feelin’ warm and right
It’s such a fine and natural sight
    Everybody’s dancin’ in the moonlight

I agree. It is much better than the conservative version:

    Goat *&$%ing in the Moonlight
