I’m afraid to click. Is it some kind of right wing outfit?

  2. pandora says:

I clicked, and have no idea what this is or who’s running it. Could be a good thing or a bad thing or just a thing.

    (Go ahead and click, UI.)

  3. anon says:

Seems to have an anti- (Dem) administration slant; site ownership is carefully hidden; most stories seem to start off with a plug for a News Journal story.

I’m not posting where I don’t know who the owner is.

  4. anon says:

… I wonder if this is the new Celia Cohen vehicle. Probably not; they’d probably use her real name for branding purposes.

Whois gives gobbledegook for the domain owner..

    The mystery deepens.

I took the poll and put in bogus info and when I finished I got a message saying that the results would be shared with Tom Carper, Ted Kaufmann, Jack Markell and selected members of the Gen Assembly.

  7. anon says:

It does have that feel of wingnuts making a superhuman effort to sound sane.

  8. RSmitty says:

As far as the domain info, aside from the URL, that is the exact same info as Carney’s new site for his congressional site. I’m not saying it’s the same people/person (although, the so called legislators being contacted, per the comment above, does omit Castle and I wonder if ‘selected’ GA members happen to exclude Republicans), but I am pointing out both chose to be private, not a big deal there.

Now I am wondering if this is a send-all-your-issues-to-Democratic-politicians-so-we-can-look-brilliant-site, posing as a non-partisan site. That would be quite skunky, if so. Drew Volturo!!! Paging Drew!!! Does your partisan bent have anything to do with this?!?! Drew? Yoo-hoo!!! Pony-boy Volturo!!!

  9. Pony boy Volturo has already saddled up for duty as the press shill for the House D’s in Dover.

The deliberate lack of info about who’s behind the site seems really fishy. Didn’t get a sense it was a wingnut site, though…

  10. anon says:

Circumstantial: There is a deleted blog at delawareissues.wordpress.com, and a shell of a blog at http://delawareissues.blogspot.com/ apparently owned by Randy Nelson.

  11. R Smitty says:

Yeah, I know that, El, but I’ve seen some of his press releases already and his work goes perfectly with my imagination in #8.

Anon #10 – if that is Nelson’s site, good for him, hope it works.
