What Could Possibly Happen Next?

Filed in National by on April 27, 2009

First, McCain states that “the fundamentals of our economy are strong” – and the economy tanks.

Then Jindal mocks volcano monitoring – and Mt. Redoubt erupts.

Now, Susan Collins cuts flu pandemic preparedness from the stimulus – and Swine Flu hits.

What next?  Will high-speed rail sweep the nation?  It’s bad enough being wrong in the past and the present, but when your future predictions turn on you this quickly… someone might be trying to tell you something.  Just sayin’.  😉

Personally, I have been praying to be singled out by Newt Gingrich as a failure who will never lead anything and a fiscal disaster that only Powerball could remedy, but that would never happen…e.v.e.r. Then he’d close it out with, “Enjoy oblivion, loser.”

That is the perfect dream. C’mon, Newt do it…DO IT!

The nation might actually elect a real socialist.

I hope they aren’t planning to filibuster funding to deflect giant asteroids headed toward Earth.

There is nothing wrong with the Party of Lincoln that some Baby preaching can’t fix.

  5. And Obama oversees GM’s demise and Chrysler’s liquidation.

Obama also oversees over 9% unemployment.

Obama oversees European rejection of stimulus and troop support.

Obama sort of says torture will be investigated, then it won’t, then Holder who says we are all cowards on race will decide.

    Liberals blame everyone else.

Oh my. Did you not understand the point, Mike. Your (bogus) examples would only work if – are you paying attention? I’ll type slowly – Obama… said… the… fundamentals… of… employment… are… strong… And then they rise. Get it?

Pandora, you already know that Protack shows up here with his quota of talking points to spam us with — being part of a conversation or even getting the point of a conversation is not his project here. I suspect that there are points or Green Stamps being accumulated that will get him his party leadership position he ohsobadly wants.

Besides — Protack was in favor of the demise of Chrysler and GM on pretty much the terms they are being demised now.

I know, I know, Cassandra. And shame on me for taking the easy shot.

    Green Stamps? tee hee.
