Deep Misplaced Anger Thought
I wonder why the Republican nutbags have not turned any of thier anger on McCain and Palin for running such a shitty campaign? I recall being so pissed off at Gore and Kerry that I still tense up when I think about them. I guess Republicans are all about giving other Republicans a free ride.
Tuesday’s Open Thread
Who could have predicted that the term tea-bagging would find its way into real America? But, since it has, who are we not to mock? And, boy, have we been mocking! Today Cassandra continues her countdown to tea-bagging, while DV solicits questions you’d like to ask tea party participants. He also infiltrates FaceBook’s tea party […]
DHS Report Spotlights Right Wing Extremists
And it’s about time. Via Think Progress: The extreme right — those who are “hate-oriented,” “mainly antigovernment,” or those dedicated to a “single issue” — is a legitimate threat that law enforcement must deal with, according to a new assessment from the Office of Intelligence and Analysis at the Department of Homeland Security. The report, […]

Cheers to Charles Johnson of LGF.
“Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but what the hell happened to “The buck stops here”? President Barack Obama is the Commander in Chief of the US armed forces. I certainly don’t agree with a lot of his policies, but I’ll be damned if I won’t — at the very least — respect the office and give him […]
El Somnambulo’s Countdown of His Top Republican Targets in 2010-#10
With the General Assembly out of session for a couple of weeks, the Beast Who Slumbers has decided to fire up the Political Hot Stove and list, IESHO, the top races that the Democratic Party and, more importantly, the progressive wing of the Party, should target. Fret not, Rethug friends, ‘bulo will soon follow with […]
Countdown — One More Day Until the World’s Biggest Teabagging
One more day until the big event — and one more day to ponder the sheer hypocrisy of these tea party events. One of the things I notice over the past week or ten days is how fast the folks trying to put this on are trying to re-spin the purpose of this thing. They […]
HILARIOUS UPDATE: Reading the teabags among other things
See bottom for update:If you didn’t know the teabaggers have a facebook page or 2. It seems that the astroturf organizing has spread more like dandelions in the spring or better yet crabgrass actually. There are 3 or 4 “groups” on Facebook and each have a few nice comments that really get you fired up […]
A Personal Note…
One year ago today I joined Delaware Liberal. It’s been a fantastic year and I’ve learned a lot while having a blast. I’d like to take this time to thank all my fellow contributors for their support and friendship. I’m not sure how other blogs work, but the bond here, at DL, extends far beyond […]
Is WILM Radio Getting Rush For Free?
It is a tidy little racket El Rushbo has worked out. Rush gets hundreds of small and medium market stations, the stations get to cut decent American jobs through outsourcing, and the Gold Bond Medicated Powder flies off the shelves. You’ve heard of wingnut welfare – this is wingnut community access programming on a grand […]
Comment Rescue: Castle Reality Check
I have to admit that I got swept up in the excitment over the thought of Ol’ Pocket Change hanging up his cleats. Rebecca makes a very strong case for why Castle will run and why getting him out will take the right Dem candidate and a lot of hard work. This is lots of […]
Ask a teabaggee a question
If you could go to one of the locations a teabaggee is heading to and could ask them any question, what would you ask them?
Poll: Could you skip a paycheck?
Duponter’s are basically getting one fewer paycheck this year. How would you make out with one less paycheck?
