OKAY. Here is the deal. The next Drinking Liberally will be a very special Drinking Liberally fundraiser.
We will passing the hat in order to RAISE $1.5 Million in order to buy Tom Carper’s vote back from the banks!
That’s right. We want to RAISE $1.5 Million to BUY TOM CARPER’S VOTE BACK FROM THE BANKS by raising money at a bar.
It sounds crazy, it sounds undoable, but how do we know if we never try to RAISE $1.5 Million to BUY TOM CARPER’S VOTE BACK FROM THE BANKS?
So will you help us try to RAISE $1.5 Million to BUY TOM CARPER’S VOTE BACK FROM THE BANKS by giving a $5.00, $10.00 or $20.00?
If, for some reason, we fall short of our goal we would not want to insult TOM CARPER with LESS THAN $1.5 Million. SO the money will be going to toward airing this ad on WDEL:
