This is Why I Hate Her.

Filed in National by on August 10, 2009

“[W]e must stick to a discussion of the issues and not get sidetracked by tactics that can be accused of leading to intimidation or harassment. Such tactics diminish our nation’s civil discourse,” – Facebooker Sarah Palin, two days after calling Obama’s healthcare plan a “downright evil” that will target her Down Syndrome baby with a “death panel.”

So, what, it is civil when the former half term Governor creates an outrageous and evil lie about the President’s healthcare plan, and uses her disabled baby as a prop for that lie, but it is uncivil when we call her out on her lies.

DD, I fail to see how what you write is any different. For years, you have sat there saying “bring it!” even though you are a fat yella turd.

All of sudden, people start bringing it, and you call “time out”?

That alone should get you an informal nose job.

First, name one blatant lie I have ever told about a conservative elected official or their policy. Indeed, I don’t have to lie, for I get plenty of material with what they say and the truth about their positions. So that is one difference you should be able to see.

Second, I have no problem with Mrs. Palin bringing it. If she wants to get all scrappy with me, then let’s go. The problem is 1) she is lying, and 2) then when people call her on her lies, she then says if anyone challenges her on it, they are being uncivil.

I guess then you have no problem with lying, right HiQ? Typical.

Lately, there have been many absurd and controversial statements made. Take your pick:

“[W]e must stick to a discussion of the issues and not get sidetracked by tactics that can be accused of leading to intimidation or harassment. Such tactics diminish our nation’s civil discourse,”

“I don’t want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking. I want them to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess.”

“If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.”

  4. Delaware Dem says:

What is absurd or controversial about the last two statements? Conservatives, since they have no plan and are directly responsible for the collapse of the economy, should not have anything to say about how we clean their mess up. And the second statement is only soliciting information so as to debunk conservative lies.

Now look, I know you conservatives hate being caught lying, or you think that you never should be called a liar even though that is what you all are, but come on.

It’s the usual diversionary tactics from miscreant — altho Palin has a habit of stepping out with her own brand of incivility (and what is lying to people, but incivility) and then running back to hide behind her Don’t Be Mean to Me shtick. They are all pathetic.

  6. miscreant says:

As always, you’ve dished out the usual hot steaming pile of *progressive* rhetoric. Statement two is obviously intended to suppress free speech, and statement three verifies it. You freaks need to get over Palin (I have), and find a viable scapegoat for the inadequacies of our President.

“find a viable scapegoat for the inadequacies of our President.”

Hahaha….I won’t state the painfully obvious.

Kinda funny how these liberals get politically porned up by a president who can’t.

The hot steaming pile is your hot steaming of drivel that doesn’t even address DDs point. For someone who has supposedly gotten over Palin, you’ve expended a decent amount of energy piling on your own hot steaming pile here.

  9. Von Cracker says:

I see Mis received his illogical talking point of the week.

Mis thinks submitting an email to wh.gov about insurance companies lies and distortions is tantamount to the Stasi collecting names east of the Brandenburg gate, but it’s certainly not to collect selections of the anti-health groups to respond to and retort. Talk about black helicopters (isn’t that one of the dismissive phrases the right likes to use when they get lazy?)

To top off the stupidity, yes you Mis are that stupid, the whole “gov’t wants emails to track enemies” bullshit was perpetrated by one Sen. Colburn (i believe). This is the same flag-bearer of liberty who defended BU$hCo’s illegal wiretapping of fellow Americans.

In other words STFU you intellectually disconnected POS.

  10. Miscreant says:

    VC and Cassandra,
Thank you for the usual thoughtful, well-reasoned responses. Immediately resorting to name calling precisely what I’ve come to expect from the intellectually immature.

    “…doesn’t even address DDs point.”

As far as I can tell, his only “point” was to continue to gin up hate for someone who is, for all practical purposes, politically irrelevant. Believe me, it’s very amusing how he frequently soils his panties, and starts spewing hate over the likes of Palin. For some reason, she obviously intimidates him.

What are “black helicopters”? Is that some kind of racial remark?

I imagine you would know from whence you speak — since the first volley was thrown by you. If you don’t like it, don’t dish it out. You are in not position to argue for thoughtful when you had no intention of offering anything like it.

  12. mike says:

    down syndrome baby?
    ugh….
would you ever say cancer baby? how about acne teenager?
give me a break. Kids and people aren’t defined by their issues. Sarah Palin (and I’m not a fan) has a baby with Down Syndrome. It’s not about being P.C. It’s about having a little thing called decency.
