When You’re Fishing In A Shallow Pool…

…Survey questions like this make sense.

“It has been suggested that the government could use voter registration to determine a person’s political affiliation, prompting fears that GOP voters might be discriminated against for medical treatment in a Democrat-imposed health care rationing system. Does this possibility concern you?”

This inanity comes from the latest GOP fundraising letter – signed, of course, by Michael Steele.  Love the it has been suggested lead in.  Who suggested?  But I guess when your party is comprised of birthers, deathers, penis protectors, and people who couldn’t define socialism on a bet it’s best to keep it simple for stupid.  Brace yourself for the next talking point.

See Unstable Isotope’s post for more Steele nonsense.

  1. So they’re still pretending that Medicare isn’t government-run health care?

  2. It has been suggested – by Republicans listening to the voices in Glenn Beck’s head. He’s not lying!

Dear God, is Michelle Bachmann doing their polling now? It is obvious they have a paralizing fear of the “Democrat Government”. Here’s an idea — just have the entire GOP move to Texas (they should fit now), secede, and get it over with. That way the grown-ups can move on and actually try to improve our country.

That idea becomes more appealing by the day, Scott! 😉
