“Professional” Journalists Could Learn A Lot From This High School Reporter

This kid is prepared, smart, informed and persistent.  The Candidate for State Superintendent of Arizona, however, is none of those things.

    This is the kind of journalism that can only be done when you are not getting paid. There’s no job security in embarrassing Republicans.

  4. This young journalist is what the mainstream media pretended Tim Russert was. He was prepared and he asked follow-up questions. In my opinion, a question about your own votes is only a gotcha question if you can’t defend it.

    But that kid was fabulous — prepared and interested. He should think about starting his own Talking Points Memo. I’d invest in that…
