Monday’s Asshat of the Day

Filed in National by on September 13, 2010

Without a doubt, there is only one person who could be named today’s winner, Newt Gingrich. No real need to repeat what UI wrote earlier today.

On another note, we have a Hero of the Day. Jacob Isom stood up and grabbed a Koran before some schmuck could burn it. Yeah, one of our resident wingnuts is going to go off on how I’m advocating theft, yadda, yadda, yadda. But I was glad to see that someone finally took some action to stop these racist morons from desecrating a holy book.

Yes UI. Equally to blame, but Gingrich is a better (and fatter) target. What is he on now, wife number 3 or 4? I’ve lost count.

  2. Wife #3, who has a nice head of blonde helmet hair.

whoa! pull back. settle down. just because you folks have values and live a moral life does not make you better than a serial philanderer who tosses aside number two on her hospital bed. Well, you don’t go about preaching it, so there! Why don’t you DLs just once go around being hypocritical? Can’t do it, can ya? You got no bible you got no reagan you got no WMDs and you still refuse to fail. Alright, any oral in the office? never mind, i would be doing that all day everyday. receiving. not giving. i’m not a good lover.i would, however, let newt suck my dick.i bet he swallows.

You think rescuing a muslim book is heroism?

A real hero, Kathy Kelly goes on trial Tuesday, sept 14 for trying to rescue muslims; “for ‘trespassing’ in a drone-manufacturing plant during an anti-war protest,

Why do we think burning Qurans is less civilised than drone attacks on civilian populations?

” drones which hover over potential targets in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Yemen create small “ground zeroes” in multiple locales on an everyday basis”.

Yes, you are advocating theft and denial of free speech. It is pretty ridiculous and hypocritical to label someone as a “wingnut” for speaking out against stealing property and denying somebody their civil liberties.

You can’t be for free speech while also celebrating the denial of free speech by an act of theft.

It is pretty clear that you only support the civil liberties only of those who agree with you, which is exactly the same posture that many people who want to deny you the right to marry advocate.

It is really disheartening to me how short-sighted “liberals” like you can be when it comes to preserving freedom and civil liberties.

It didn’t take long, did it.

  7. anonone says:

Next, I guess you’ll be cheering on the people who steal books from libraries that they find offensive.

  8. Miscreant says:

I don’t advocate “denial of free speech”, but I’d say the guy who prevented the book burning has more balls and brains than the guy who was going to burn the book.

  9. delacrat says:

If the US military was not routinely killing muslims, no one would care if a quran was burned,
