Last Night I Was Shocked, Today It Makes Sense

Filed in Delaware by on September 15, 2010 20 Comments

Last night I couldn’t believe Christine O’Donnell beat Mike Castle.  I walked around stunned.  How could this happen?  And then I realized what happened.  Why wouldn’t she win?  For far too many years the entire Republican Party has fed their supporters a steady diet of issue-less tripe.  They’ve run on liberty, freedom, real America, family […]

Only 12% of eligible Democrats voted today, so in a way we are starting from a standing start. O”Donnell, meanwhile, just hit the momentum jackpot. We need to not be seen counting chickens. Donate to Chris Coons today, tomorrow, and every one of these 48 days until election day.

NRSC Pulls Out of Delaware

Filed in National by on September 14, 2010 5 Comments

The National Republican Party will not be supporting Christine O’Donnell in any way. Financially, or with boots on the ground. They have basically just told her to go f*ck herself. Alas, she is against such forms of self lust, so I guess she is SOL. Republican aides told Fox News Tuesday that the National Republican […]

Further more, I’m a little confused as to why our local media so incurious about the shady profiteers behind the Tea Party Express. Luckily…

What Passes for ‘Mainstream’ Political Commentary…May Well Pass

Filed in National by on September 14, 2010 3 Comments

Could Celia Cohen possibly have been any less prescient than this? In this piece, the duPont Dormouse ridicules bloggers just like…herself. BTW, this was written on Sept. 7, not some time in July. Just a couple of lowlights: The clatter from the Tea Party Express could be taken a lot more seriously if it had […]
