6 great picks! You’re way into XPN, aren’t you? Thank you for not posting a bieber.

  2. skippertee says:

    I still search for OM.

  3. Joe: Yes, we’re XPN members, and we also really like WVUD. Big fans especially of Mark Taylor and Jerry Grant.

In fact, my wife and I have gotten passes to this year’s Non-Commvention (the annual conference for non-commercial radio) at the Queen through our ‘XPN membership.

But I came to ‘Treat Her Right’ on my own some 24 years ago, and I don’t think XPN’s playing Anna Calvi yet, but I bet they will soon.

Both The Cave Singers and Sarah Jarosz will perform at the Non-Commvention, which kicks off at noon on Thurs., May 19 with…The Blind Boys of Alabama!

  4. skippertee says:

    Yea, I dig WVUD too.

  6. Thanks, Ben. Tres cool. Keep ’em coming!

    Two girl group-inspired things:

The Dahlmanns — I Love You Baby (But I Hate Your Friends)

    Noisettes — Never Forget You

Does XPN play stuff like this? I have no idea.

Also, “Kurt Vile” best band name since “Dick Army.”
