    Short on time but I wanted to add real quick –
    I thought I just read in The Week or some other news magazine that pot for medicinal use does not get you a free pass under Federal law; you can still be arrested.

    Of course this doesn’t change federal law – who thought it did? It’s mostly state cops that make possession arrests anyway. The dispensaries are the ones who might have to worry about feds coming in.

    Actually, I believe there are new Federal guidelines when dealing with medical marijuana.
