The Occupy Delaware movement seems to be growing. They’re holding their second General Assembly meeting on 10/12 at 7PM at the UAW hall on Old Baltimore Pike in Newark. They also now have a Twitter feed (@OccupyDelaware), a Facebook page (facebook.com/occupyDE) and a YouTube channel, which now has the videos of the first General Assembly meeting.
If you can’t make the meeting, at least keep this conversation going. Do what you can, this is your Democracy.

Awww… t’wern’t nuthin’. And I give Jason full credit for the idea. And the whole thing would have been impossible if it wasn’t for the people that volunteered their time, supplies and enthusiasm.
One of my favorite parts was the older couple that pulled up next to us just to tell us to let OWS that Delaware supports them. That was touching.

Great news. NAACP is on board with occupy-delaware and will send representatives to our meeting tonight. Hooray!
