i am quite impressed with your familiarity with delaware. Honestly, i lived here my whole life and until recently didn’t realize there was anything between Newark and Wilmington other than i-95 and a hospital.

The old roads that were there before the highways are still mostly there, and the communities around them. Marshallton, Ogletown, Stanton, Newport, Elsmere, all have back roads and byways that still give a glimmer of the old country between Newark and Wilmington. When I was a kid, there were still a few points on Kirkwood Highway with cornfields on both sides of the road.

There are no bad camera angles of the buildings in old New Castle. It’s a gem.
Old “Arsenal on Green” restaurant .The thing that looks like a mini tank is a nice touch:)
That thing looks like a bomb squad robot.
“Old” restaurant? What’s there now – another restaurant, or is it just closed? I don’t get out to Old New Castle much.
Jessop’s tavern?
Nope, Ben. JSG is right… again.
curse you, JSG!!!!
