Nate Silver gives Romney a 42 percent chance of winning the Iowa caucuses, followed by Ron Paul at 34 percent and Rick Santorum at 20 per cent. The final Des Moines Register poll, which has an impressive track record, indicates a 2 point lead for Romney over Paul. Ezra Klein also sees a Romney win. Howard Dean and Ed Schultz predict a Santorum upset.
Which is more likely today: Andy Reid is fired by the Eagles or Obama makes a recess appointment of Richard Cordray to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau?
Cordray is more likely.

A while back I called out Carper for his statement calling for a new nominee after Cordray was filibustered. Carper has now modified his statement ex post facto.

I think Andy Reid “resigning” is more likely than Obama making the recess appointment. I don’t think either will happen.
