The Gall of Mitt Romney

Filed in National by on February 8, 2012

“When Republicans act like Democrats, they lose. And in Newt Gingrich’s case he had to resign. In Rick Santorum’s case, he lost by the biggest margin of any Senate incumbent since 1980.” Mitt Romney, quoted by NBC News.

Mitt Romney WAS a Democrat as late into his life as 1992. He voted for Paul Tsongas, of all people. As late as 2006, Mitt Romney was pro-choice, pro-universal healthcare, pro-immigration and pro-gay rights. Now, he is the most teabagging candidate this side of teabagglandia.

This is a man with no core, no principles and no vision, who has been on both sides of every major issue in national politics. And he is lecturing others on what it means to be a good Republican.

Now, I am just a small state blogger, and I came up with the comeback to this ridiculous statement quite easily. So it makes me think that Romney is politically inept.

Wasn’t Reagan also a Democrat before he turned Republican?

He cut taxes, and then raised them. That’s a flip-flop.
