  1. Data Guru says:

    Garbage in, garbage out.

From CNN: “NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — Hiring slowed dramatically in March, clouding optimism about the strength of the recovery.

Employers added 120,000 jobs in the month, the Labor Department reported Friday, marking a significant slowdown in hiring from February, when the economy added 240,000 jobs.

Meanwhile, the unemployment rate fell to 8.2% as workers dropped out of the labor force.”

Stop using faulty data in your analysis. A “data guru” of all people should understand this concept.

The Feds look at citizens like mushrooms: feed ’em shit and keep ’em in the dark.

    “Hiring slowed dramatically in March”

Nice translation of a statistic into a damn lie.

Meanwhile, the government statistic actually measures UNEMPLOYMENT CLAIMS, not actual unemployment. People shorten it to “unemployment” in popular usage, which doesn’t change what the statistic actually is. The guy at ShadowSTats surely knows that, but where’s the business angle in admitting it?

As you say, Garbage In, Garbage Out. It applies to commenters, too.
