    Yep. The ship was built in 1938 in East Boothbay, Maine, and was stationed in and around New England, including around Long Island and its final station in Boston Harbor. The lightship was given to Lewes in 1973 and renamed for the Overfalls Shoals at the entrance to Delaware Bay. Lightships were used to mark paces where lighthouses could not be built, or where shifts in currents and sands required the repositioning of a light.
