I wish mainstream reporters would spend this much time patiently interrogating Senators on upcoming economic legislation, as Cooper spent on this ignorant battle-axe.

  2. Another Mike says:

Maybe Stacey should have declined the invitation to appear on camera.

The difference between Stacey and senators is that the senators are experienced at answering questions with a lot of words but saying nothing. They know what the questions are going to be, and they know the answers they are going to give. It’s rare when they are caught off guard. Stacey knew what the questions were going to be, but she appeared to have no clue how to effectively answer them.

  3. puck says:

Still, Cooper worked her a lot harder than a Senator. He asked questions with patience and crystalline logic, for which Stacey had no answer except to reveal her own contradictions. Republican senators, and Dems like Carper (among others ) are sorely in need of that same treatment.

  4. Jason330 says:

I started to watch this and had to turn away after just a couple of minutes. What was the point of putting this woman on camera anyway? Ignorant people are ignorant. Yeah journalism!

  5. puck says:

She is more Jerry Springer material anyway.

  6. Geezer says:

“Republican senators, and Dems like Carper (among others ) are sorely in need of that same treatment.”

Most Senators have enough media skills to evade the questions.

  7. Idealist says:

“When a joint was making the rounds, he (high school Barack Obama) often elbowed his way in, out of turn, shouted ‘Intercepted!’ and took an extra hit,” Maraniss writes.

I know conservatives are going to hammer him for this, but I hope progressives use it to highlight the hypocrisy in his administration’s crackdown on medical marijuana.

Loves her some Leviticus! Son of who? Oh, that’s another book of the bible and we’re not following that scripture today, thank you.

  9. Republican says:

I don’t like partisanship. I am a Delaware republican because they share more of my views on the means to the ends (less government to achieve social justice, greater equality, security). However I don’t agree with many social policies such as the campaign of hate towards homosexuals. All voluntary contracts entered into, consentually, should be permitted and recognized. Homosexuals as well as polygamists should have the right to enter into a contract of marriage. We should separate the sacrament of marriage from the legal contract of marriage. Issues such as this make me wish there was a viable and reasonable libertarian party, not like the one we have in Delaware.

Where’s Nemski? I depend on DelawareLiberal.net for 3 things! Not the least of which is another thing: Nemski.

  11. MJ says:

I heard today that Doug Beatty has decided not to run for Governor.
