23rd RD Endorses Paul Baumbach

Filed in Delaware by on August 7, 2012

When you have wide open races replacing a beloved retiring Representative, such as Terry Schooley, with three candidates struggling to get their names out there and pounding the pavement every night, endorsements from the local Representative District committee can mean a lot.

Last night the 23rd RD endorsed Paul Baumbach over Jerry Grant and Claudia Bock. Of the 12 members voting, apparently Paul got 8 votes.

Congratulations to Paul and best of luck going forward

My thanks go out to the committee for their dedication to our district.

Congratulations also are due to the other endorsed candidates from last night’s meeting, which I believe are:

    US Representative John Carney
    Governor Jack Markell
    Lt. Governor Matt Denn
    Insurance Commissioner candidate Mitch Crane
    State Senator Dave Sokola
    County Council Person Tim Sheldon
County Clerk of the Peace Ken Boulden

AND, Renee Taschner for New Castle County Council President.

Congratulations to all the endorsed candidates.

  3. They simply ducked the County Exec.? Ah well.

Congrats to Paul Baumbach and to the 23rd for giving the nod to the candidate most likely to get out and fight the Delaware Way.

  4. Tom McKenney says:

Considering the level of corruption in the state and county, I do not want someone to fight the Delaware way. Tom Gordon and the crew were there to run things.

  5. Delaware Dem says:

It will be quite ironic if people turn to Tom Gordon and his crew to fight corruption. Kinda like turning to the Devil to fight evil.

  6. ConfusedVoter says:

Good Luck Paul. You are a smart man! Make us proud!
