A racist Texas homeowner has lynched an empty chair representative of President Obama, in his front yard. His neighbors complained, and this was his response:

“I don’t really give a damn whether it disturbs you or not,” [Bud] Johnson reportedly told [his complaining neighbor]. “You can take [your concerns] and go straight to hell and take Obama with you. I don’t give a shit. If you don’t like it, don’t come down my street.”

His street? He didn’t build that.

Geoffrey Skelley’s post “Less Than 50 Days to Go” at Larry J. Sabato’s Crystal Ball takes a look at mid-September Gallup RV polling relationship to final results for all 15 presidential elections since 1952, and notes: “The most obvious conclusion we can make from these data is that it’s better to be ahead at this point. Of the 15 elections between 1952 and 2008, only twice has a candidate who held a lead around this time failed to win the election.” Those two exceptions are Nixon in 1960 and Gore in 2000, who did in fact win the popular vote.

Daniel Trone mapped Springsteen’s 1500+ shows over 40 years. I am amazed how much he did not travel to the west coast early in his career.

    Agreed. Jon Stewart is brilliant.

The Moochocracy! Hysterical and on the money.

And add that guy lynching an empty chair to the long line of silly performance art that these wingnuts think passes as protest. I keep thinking that I ought to string up a bunch of saltines in front of my house as a counterprotest, but I doubt they’ll get the message.

  4. Linda says:

I was thinking along the lines of just drawing a big % on my glass front door. LOL

  5. Some things I cannot make up. This little snippet from the NYTimes:

A jury found the Amish sect leader Samuel Mullet Sr. and 15 followers guilty of conspiracy and hate crimes in a series of Ohio beard- and hair-cutting attacks.

Samuel Mullet Sr., ladies and gentlemen. Could he merely be a misunderstood proselytizer for the most underrated haircut of all time?

  6. Liberal Elite says:

So… Holding people down and cutting their hair is a hate crime??

    Hmmmm……

  7. Rusty Dils says:

As more and more true stories start to come out about Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, the country is starting to see that the msm, and the liberals are wrong about romney being the bad guy, and barack obama being the good guy. They definately have gotten it backwards

Here is a lengthy 10 chapter special report created over the last 4-5 months and published yesterday by the washington examiner. This is a detailed story with alot of information that most people do not know about Barack Obama, including the fact of him saying he grew up poor and impoverished is a bunch of malarchy.

But, the liberals don’t care, and probably won’t read

  8. nemski says:

Hey RD, you know he was born in Kenya and he is going to take your guns away? Amiright?

  9. AQC says:

Rusty, if the country is starting to see all that, why is President Obama winning?

    Time to wake up.

ONCE UPON A TIME, the words ‘tea party’ brought about pleasant visions of gentle ladies getting together in the afternoon for tea, cake and pleasant talk. So lovely was the party, that for generations, little girls everywhere imitated it, donning frocks, serving kool-aid and little cakes at their pint size tables, surrounded by friends and dollies. My sweet friends, have some tea.

A frightening nightmare across the land, was the multi billion ton gorillas offering any reason under and including the sun to allow smoke stacks of freely pouring industrial by-products from coal, oil, gas, chemicals, cattle, forestry and various synthetics, into the atmosphere of all good little boys and girls, chemically altering their sky and climate for centuries to come.

It turned out, the gorillas’ investment at the tea party, is only a fraction of what they earn each year through profits by pollution, so they calculate, it’s a good investment indeed. Have some more CO2, one heard a greedy, heartless bastard say.

One such gorilla was the two headed Charles and David, simultaneously spouting climate denial and terms of politically corrupt propaganda, while throwing cash in the boiling cauldron. The one monster alone, free released an inexorable cloud of hundreds of million of tons of carbon dioxide every year (earning billions,) and received 4 billion dollars in government subsidies as well. The multi billion dollar gorillas control the conversion at the party, so that it is always the little people who foot the bills for the resulting toxic atmosphere. Big money talks, tea sippers provide their votes, is how the party rolls.

The average American’s carbon dioxide footprint is 19 tons a year; a European’s is 9 tons; a Chinese – 5 tons, and there is India’s 1.4 tons of CO2 per person, others less to none. Charles and David’s toxic footprint is disproportionately one hundred million tons each head. Their wealth is legendary; their breath and words are deadly overpowering. There are those who remain around the table eating cake, finding it satisfying nonetheless, even though their future looks dim. ‘One horrid crumb snatcher squealed, ‘Who cares, by 2020, I’ll be dead. .. Let the next generation pay the price with their very lives. Ahhh hahahaha.’ Cheers rose from the ‘life’ group.

I think we should all stand up and give pledge of allegiance to that wonderful flag, said a woman in a red t shirt waving a birther baggy. ‘If this is a party of the people, why have Charles and David spent $400,000,000 at our tea, a man with an chicken sandwich asked. ‘Ssshhhhhhh,’ answered a zealot, ‘because, it’s actually… their party.’ Church ladies squirmed in their seats.

Had the children’s tea dream, turned into a party of depraved, gaseous, free releasing gorillas who pour un regulated billions of tons of CO2 and CH4 into the air while demanding to make hundreds of billions, as the scorched earth became the reality of children everywhere?

    No, republicans always lie.

This isn’t a tea party. This is gorilla warfare.

  11. socialistic ben says:

no no he isnt winning. the media is just making up poll numbers to dishearten republicans. If the election were held today, Mitt would win every state and “deport obama” would come in second as a write in. The only votes Obama would get would come from people forced by Eric Holder and his private band of Black Panthers.
Only you and I know the truth, Rusty. Keep up the good work.
