I’m not tracking on this…but is Chip Flowers pulling a Jeff Christopher?

Filed in National by on April 20, 2013

When reading Celia’s blog you never know who is telling her to write what, so I’m not putting too much stock into her account but it sure sounds like Flowers is the catalyst for the turmoil.

“You have a treasurer who is a constitutional officer,” Flowers said.

“That’s the argument of the Sussex County sheriff. We’re all constitutional officers,” said Jeff Bullock, the Democratic secretary of state.

I don’t know if Flowers is in the wrong, but I love that “Christopherism” has now been used to identify someone as a crackpot.

Flowers may have a case, but he sure has a tin ear about articulating it. Looks like the old boy’s network is going to win this one.

Ambition in a politician is not a rare thing. But bare, naked ambition is usually the mark of an unaware, self-centered politician. Mr. Flowers’ last campaign was more appropriate for someone running for Governor than for Treasurer. And he’s been pushing at the Delaware Code and Constitution since he was elected. He ran for the wrong office. Perhaps he’ll do better in 2016?

There was a facebook posting from Mr. Flowers last Thursday about Mr Marvin saying something insulting about Union Government workers at this meeting

  4. There is more information on my blog about it. The DE State News has a regular article I linked to it and I put up some comment rescues that all help give context to Celia’s post.

If Chip bit David Grimaldi’s finger, who would Nancy support?
