Tennessee State Sen. Stacey Campfield (R) joked on his personal blog about “assault pressure cookers” in the wake of last week’s bombing in Boston, the Tennessean reports.

“Under a headline that referred to U.S. Sen. Diane Feinstein, one of the leading proponents of gun control, Campfield cataloged the dangerous features on a pressure cooker, including a ‘muzzle break thingy,’ ‘tactical grip’ and ‘evil, black’ color.” When asked about his comments he refused to apologize and said liberal commentators should be calling for “crock pot control” if they were consistent with their calls for gun control after last year’s Sandy Hook school shooting.

I am starting to wonder if all Republicans are sociopathic assholes. Hey asshole, bombs are already illegal.

    Should gay couples have the same rights as straight couples, when it comes to adaption, and should adoption agencies be forced to consider gay couples on the same level as straight couples, when placing children in homes ? How about foster children?

    fbh=the short answer is “yes.”

    The long answer is that there are literally tens of thousands of children, mostly older, or minorities, or special needs–or some combination of all of those who right now literally have zero chance of finding a home–even a good foster placement. I have been through these placement programs (both as a participant and teaching parts of them) and I have met both committed same-sex couples with long stable histories and all the relevant skills for raising a child as well as hetero couples completely without a clue.

    You want to save marriage? Ban Kardashian marriage, not same-sex marriage.

    Going back to whether we should regulate “assault pressure cookers” (ha,ha, gotchu dumb liberals) the unified correct response should be…. well if pressure cookers have killed 115,000+ Americans over the past 10 years, well, yeah,… it’s probably a good idea and about time we regulated them….

    Ricin charges against the Elvis impersonator have been dropped. When asked for comment the former suspect said “Thank you. Thank you very much.”

    It gets even weirder though – the new suspect is the arch-enemy of the first guy.
