Insulting Bully dishes it out but can’t take it

What a pathetic coward Donald Trump is.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Thursday that the White House press secretary’s comment about his “fake” hair was “disgusting.”

Josh Earnest railed against Trump’s proposed ban on Muslims earlier this week and said that such a comment “disqualifies” the real estate mogul from the presidency.

“The Trump campaign for months now has had a dustbin of history-like quality to it, from the vacuous sloganeering to the outright lies to even the fake hair—the whole carnival barker routine we’ve seen for some time now,” Earnest said.

Donald Trump says it is disgusting to insult his looks. Interesting. How many times has Donald Trump insulted the looks of others? Thousands? He does it on a daily basis. The old adage is true: if you punch a bully in the face, they will never stop crying.

Donald Trump’s conservative supporters are like the battered wife whose husband beats her. When Trump’s supporters first jumped on his bandwagon early this year, they were looking for someone completely different than Obama or Clinton. These conservatives reasoned that Donald Trump was a highly successful businessman, so he could help with the economy, a tough negotiator, so he could help with foreign policy, and in general, a no nonsense kind of guy. All makes perfectly logical sense from a conservative point of view.

And, just like these Trump supporters, initially, the battered wife was not being battered. When she first married her husband, and had some kids with him, she stood up for him, thought he was handsome, and also a good provider. But at some point things changed, first her and her husband had a fight, and he slapped her around a little. At first she was furious, but then he apologized, and all was well. Now, when her friends asked, she stood up for him even more than before. And, just like the husband of the battered wife, metaphorically speaking, Donald Trump started beating his supporters. First he accused Mexico of purposely sending us their rapist and killers as immigrants. Next he said that Jeb Bush has to believe the way he does because he is married to a Hispanic. Next, he made derogatory comments about one of his republican competitor’s (a woman) face.

Just like the battered wife, Trumps supporters (and there are many, people like Ann Coulter, many of my friends, many of my customers) started sticking up for Trump more. Because just like the battered wife, they were too embarrassed to start admitting they had been wrong about Trump. Next the battered wife’s husband starts beating her on a regular basis, friends and neighbors know something is wrong, but again, too embarrassed to admit she could have been wrong about picking this guy, the poor battered wife sticks up for her husband even more.

The next stage of metaphorical beating starts by Trump. Now, after a terrible terrorist attack in California (coming on the heels of the horrible Paris attacks) where many lives were lost and many people were injured, Trump, steps up to the plate once again, decides he would throw out the constitution of the United States, and on a temporary basis stop allowing all Muslims to enter the country, even those who are already citizens. Well, now just like the battered wife staunchly sticking up for her wife beating husband, the Trump conservatives dig themselves into a deeper hole. After the Paris attacks, Ann Coulter tweets Donald Trump just became president tonight. I personally was mourning the poor victims and the families of the Paris attacks. Even Sean Hannity says if only Trump had worded it different, then everyone would be more ok with it. No Sean, I won’t be ok with it.

Finally one day the poor battered wife’s husband either beats the tar out of her, or worst of all, goes after the children. At this point, reality sets in immediately, and the battered wife goes and tells either friends or the authorities, because she finally realizes that by continuing to save herself from embarrassment, she is endangering herself and the lives of her kids. So she does the right thing, an about face, and puts the authorities onto her demented husband.

Metaphorically speaking, if and when Donald Trump goes after the children, how long do you think it will be before his supporters finally wise up?
