Sweet, was it not? No doubt Tom Carper fainted and mumbled incoherently.
It’s a shame she won’t be debating at Hofstra on Monday.
I’m assuaged by the fact that she is needed in the Senate.
Has anyone seen all the puff pieces on Tom Carper recently sprouting up all over the place? There’s a several page love fest in the new Delaware Today talking about how effective he has been working across the aisle. A story in DE State News about how liked he is in some poll. Seems like an early attempt to puff him up and scare away any primary challengers….My take is they are nervous about his age and prospects in 2018..
You may be onto something. He seemed pretty old to me when I last saw him, and yet I think it is a bit of a stretch to think that they are “nervous.”
Vigilant, perhaps. Knowing how he took out the doddering Roth and how Castle was blindsided. Yeah, vigilant is probably accurate.
Isn’t Carper on the banking committee? Did he ask any hard questions?
Mr. Stumpf is no match for Sen. Warren’s scorching indignation.
