Without mentioning Biden by name, Bernie Sanders explains why Biden shouldn’t be the nominee

Filed in National by on June 30, 2019

In 2019 we should all agree that the eventual Democratic nominee will need to give Democratic voters a reason to get out and vote. Democrats have demonstrated their willingness to boycott elections and candidates that don’t offer anything other then “I’m a little less bad than the other guy.”

Here is Bernie on the topic when asked whether Biden could fire up the Democratic base.

H”Voter turnout has got to be more and more young people, more and more working class people, more lower-income people, who traditionally do not get involved,” he said.

“But you’re not going to have that turnout unless the candidate has issues that excite people and energize people. That means you have to be talking about Medicare-for-all. You have to be talking about raising the minimum wage to a living wage of $15 an hour. You have to be talking about making public colleges and universities tuition-free, and canceling student debt. You’ve got to be talking about climate change and a bold response to the planetary crisis.”

We all live here, we all know Joe, and we all know his allegiance is to Wall St. and the big corporations, he is the classic Delaware Corporatist. If he wins the primary I will vote for him, but have no expectations about what he would do as president, we can do much better.

Jokes on Bernie b/c if you talk about those things, then young people and minorities get interested in politics and start expecting the govt to work for them.
