Joe played by the rules and did the right thing, stepping aside and letting the lackluster Hillary Clinton be President. When that didn’t work out, it seemed like his “turn” to be President. Joe Biden apparently doesn’t care if you vote for him. No, really. On Tuesday in Iowa the former vice-president had the latest in a series of bizarre encounters with potential voters, telling a man who asked him about the issue of building new pipelines and where he stood on the climate crisis to “go vote for someone else”.
The man, the former Iowa state representative Ed Fallon, said that he would support him in the general election against Donald Trump but not in the Iowa primary, which irked Biden, who wrongly assumed he was a Bernie Sanders supporter.

A man in Iowa asks Joe Biden to stop supporting the building of new pipelines. Joe Biden tells him to go vote for someone else and then starts accusing him of voting for Bernie Sanders. Actually, the man says, he’s voting for Tom Steyer. Very awkward.

Mr Biden has said that he would have won in 2016, and, who knows, maybe he’s right. I’m sure that he’s kicking himself for not running, but can you imagine if he had run, and beaten Hillary Clinton in the primaries? It would have been all about some man again, denying her the coronation she so richly deserved.
Alben Barkley, in 1952, was the last sitting Vice President to be denied his party’s presidential nomination if he sought it. Why? Because some union leaders said that Mr Barkley was too old for the run — he was 71 years old — and that the party needed Adlai Stevenson.

If i thought joe was smart enough i would think he is planning this. If trump is impeached or something befalls him and he cant run or doesnt, all the right wing loons will look at uncle joe and think “man this guy is one of us. he talks like us and dont care what nobody thinks. hes just like good old donald”
