Vote for Democrats. We are slightly less bad!
The problem with the Democratic Party strategy expressed above is that as Republicans get worse and worse, elected Dems simply adjust accordingly.

Money corrupts and controls all things in America, including the politicians of both parties. Joe Biden, Chris Coons and Tom Carper are all closet conservatives, call ’em what you like they work for the corporations and Wall St. and rarely for us. What to do? When we do get rid of a corporatist the big money boys merely corrupt the next guy in line. What to do? I don’t know, but these very different times and may actually prove an opportunity. The New Deal was passed in times that resemble today. Social and economic upheaval broke the power of the rich for once. Oddly enough we may be able to advance the progressive agenda. But we will never do it with the politicians we have now.
