The latest hot spots (it’s getting tougher to find new ones, as virtually the entire southeast and much of the west are already hot spots): Pickens County, SC; Lamar County, TX; Canyon County, ID. When you look at where the virus is speading, you can only reach one conclusion: The spread is overwhelmingly in areas with R governors who have reopened too soon and areas where the Great Unwashed hang on Trump’s every word.

Sure I’m counting my chickens before they hatch, but the post election period will be interesting to say the least. The Republicans will labor to inflict as much damage as they can before being ejected (like usual) but the real show will be Trump’s reaction to defeat and the realization that there will be no pardon for him or any of his gang. Suspect there will be numerous attempts to cover numerous asses in the White House. In the end the lucky ones are the ones already gone.
Trump can issue pardons as a lame duck, just like Bush 41 did with his Iran/Contra buddies.
COVID Don totally owners the pandemic. Nothing is going to change until he is gone. At least he is now ignoring and killing his own base….meanwhile Europe is reopening.
