Is Trump Toast?  Yes, I think so. Historical precedent also suggests it’s so.

Russia Paid The Taliban.  Hey, maybe it was just for poppy seeds.  Trump has no good defense.  He’s only gonna have the dead-enders voting for him.

Medicaid Expansion Voted In By Oklahoma Voters.  Voted into Oklahoma’s constitution, no less.  In Colorado, a Q Anon RWNJ defeated a mere RWNJ incumbent congressman, making this red district vulnerable in November. The successful challenger owns a bar named Shooters, has all of her employees proudly open-carry their weapons, and illegally reopened her bar during the shutdown.

Trump: I’ll Veto Defense Spending Bill If It Includes Removing Confederate Names From Military Bases.  He might well have to.  Quite the pathetic hill to die on. Especially since some of the strongest proponents for taking down the names of the Confederate honorees are–descendants of the honorees.

Ohio Demands That GM Give Its Tax Credit $$’s Back.  On a strong bipartisan basis.  In Delaware, Barclays ships jobs to New Jersey, then gets yet another giveaway to bring back 60% of the jobs, at lower salaries.

Dave Lawson Is A Stone-Cold Idiot. State Senator, ex-cop, gun range owner.  Insists that Delaware needs to completely reopen because ‘enough is enough’.  There’s a pretty good chance that, even in his district, voters will decide that they’ve had enough of perhaps Delaware’s worst legislator.  In a related story, Colin Bonini speaks on the Rick Jensen Show. Spews nonsense.

What do you want to talk about?

    Bonini: “We are a high-tax, high-regulation, high-labor-cost, high-utility-costs state.”

We do have high utility costs and relatively high labor costs, at least for government projects. But our regulations, other than the Coastal Zone Act, are rather lax, and enforcement of them even more so.

As for taxes, however, our per-capita tax load is among the lowest in the nation because a big chunk of our revenue comes from fees on banks and corporations, not on Delawareans. This lie about taxes is a bedrock claim of the Delaware GOP, and never has it been true.

The real joke, of course, is Bonini’s implication that the GOP has any tools to combat the state’s mediocre economic performance beyond its usual grab-bag of Proven Failures: tax cuts, lax regulation and corporate handouts.

The GOP’s intellectual bankruptcy is matched only by its moral bankruptcy. And a bankrupt shall lead them.

Didja see the part where he talks about how hard he works?

      Speaks for itself.

    Is Trump Toast?

The only data point that suggest otherwise is the rabbit he pulled out of his hat in 2016. He had a 1 in 70 chance of wining that election and the long shot came in. Even if he has a 1 in 80 chance of winning this year, long shots do sometimes come in.

Is Trump Toast? Not for the Evangelical Cult perhaps, but suspect we’re past the enough is enough point for many. The Russian bounty on American soldiers cannot end well for Trump with his hyper apparent love of Putin, and I suspect he’ll step in it numerous time before the election. Is there a long shot chance? Perhaps, hoping not. Dave Lawson? Idiotus Domesticus? YEP! With predictions of a potential 100,000 new cases per day from Fauci opening up further is stupidity for the ages.

I don’t care what the odds are. With bad memories of 2016 dancing in my head, I won’t rest until that racist, misogynist POS is voted out. Even then, I shudder at the damage he will do between Election Day and Jan. 20. The Democrats cannot let up.
