Mute Trump? Debate Commission to mute microphones during 2-minute statements.  Will he show up?  Will he stomp off the stage at some point?  After all, he doesn’t like the moderator, doesn’t like the rules, doesn’t even like the topics.  For a self-styled tough guy, he’s a big crybaby.

A muted mic won’t stop Trump from babbling on. We won’t hear him but Joe will.

These interviewers are so UNFAIR. BTW, I doubt that he makes it through the debate.

It’s hard to argue that the 2-minute muting rule isn’t a good thing, but honestly that’s… literally 12 minutes out of a 90 minute debate.

Somebody go back and count the interruptions from three weeks ago. I’m sure that 80-90% were during the follow-up questions and back-and-forth after the initial statements from each categorical intro. This really isn’t going to do a whole lot. It will still be a dumpster fire, albeit one sprayed with an extinguisher every 15 minutes.
