Which Delaware Statewide candidate is going to post the biggest win vs their entirely execrable DEGOP opponent? (Part 2)
Surprisingly, 538 has Coons beating LBR’s winning margin.
Coons – 64.2%
Biden – 62.1%
LBR – 60.4%
This is probably due to a lack of polling on these non-competitive races.
But if Delaware voters do put such a lopsided beatdown on every DEGOP statewide candidate, I sincerely hope we can dispense with all the Coonsian bowing and scraping to the wingnuts in a misguided attempt to appear “bi-partisan”
I think Coons will win the margin race because Lee Murphy seems less insane and not much of a explicit Nazi than Witzke is. Carney will have the closest race due to the Transperfect ads and the chaffing against Pandemic restrictions, though Murray is almost as insane as Witzke.
I sorta agree. However, and this is just in Brandywine Hundred where I’ve been lit-dropping for Kyle Evans Gay, I’ve seen far more Witzke signs than Trump signs or Cloutier signs. Not to mention Murphy signs. I’ve seen virtually no signs for Julianne Murray.

Really? They’re everywhere, but they’re masquerading as John Carney wants to put blacks in jail, and John Carney released that guy who has been indicted in the plot to kidnap Gretchen Witmer. They have trucks with billboards featuring all the judges on Chancery Court. Because they’re all, you know, white.
It appears more an attempt to suppress the black vote. To what effect? I have no idea. It’s insane.
They also appear as full-page ads in the print edition of the News Journal, as well as showing up as large mailers in my Brandywine Hundred mailbox.
Even by Delaware Rethuglican standards, this Lauren Witzke is an especially noxious piece of shit. I’m driving home north on 95, and she’s got a side by side sign featuring her on the left and Chris Coons wearing one of those pink pussy hats from the Women’s March. I view him wearing that as a badge of honor, but what’s the point she’s trying to make, and to whom?
Answers: “I’m a blonde MAGAt” and “Fox News.”
FWIW, Coons “wins” the highest statewide percentage derby with 59.47%.
Since, for all intents and purposes, there is no statewide DEGOP and the Dem primary IS the election, can we dispense with the empty suits, and elect some Democrats with Democratic values next time? Just a thought.
