The Latest Rethug Attempt To Label Rather Than Legislate.  Prepare to hear ‘Lefty social engineering’ redound through their media echo chamber:

That echoed a message sketched out immediately after Biden’s speech by Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), who gave the nationally televised GOP response and accused Democrats of wanting “to put Washington even more in the middle of your life, from the cradle to college,” and other Republicans followed suit.

“I think there’s a lot of lefty social engineering paid for by mortgaging the future of my children and my grandchildren,” said Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.). “It’s doubling down on the same old solutions on the left and just throwing more money at it.”

Rethugs And Sex.  Kansas. Idaho.  Don’t think their definitions of ‘family values’ are in the mainstream.  As ’twas always thus,  those who fulminate the most about family values are the most irredeemable when it comes to practicing them.

And The Wall Came A’Tumblin’ Down.  Biden cancels Border Wall projects. Sales of 5-foot ladders plummet.

‘Rights Of Nature’ Lawsuit Challenges Florida Over-Development.  Yes, it’s a law. Now, there’s a lawsuit.  Could this presage a trend?

Waiting For The UFO’s.  The Pentagon is finally taking them seriously.  Are they real? If so, where do they come from? What do they think about TikTok?

What do you want to talk about?

“It’s doubling down on the same old solutions on the left ”

As opposed to creating the same old problems by the right. Fuck off, Josh Hawley. If I had my way you and all your progeny would move to a country with lower taxes and more traditional family structures. Central Africa, say.

Heh, Homo sapiens; we take ourselves sooo seriously. We are comparable, to any race capable of interstellar travel, as fleas to a dog. They’d take one look at how we treat each other over a buck and decide, ‘yeah, f’ these guys. No good from getting involved with them’. For the mil. To get involved with UFOs is likely much more pragmatic; who is violating our airspace and what intel are they collecting? No doubt we have atmospheric tools to do the same, can’t have a monopoly on that forever.

If space aliens ever do arrive on Earth, no matter how scientifically advanced they are, Republicans will find a way to claim they’re inferior.

Most people don’t have a good grasp of the immense distances of space, or the physics of near-lightspeed travel, let alone faster than light travel. Interstellar travel is theoretically possible but requires technology that harnesses unimaginable amounts of energy.

Such fun to follow the Republican catch phrase of the day, as in “Lefty Social Engineering “, predict there will be a flurry of repetitions on Fox News and then it will be replaced as Trump’s base struggles with three words in a row. Then again I found “Cancel Culture” to be supremely stupid and unlikely to last, instead it has become the desperate far right liars “safe” word” to avoid looking like a total fool. No, this will not work on Ron Johnson.
