Trump Pushed DOJ To Overthrow Election.  Treason. Sedition.  You name it.  He broke the law, and threatened the future of the country. “Just say that the election was corrupt and leave the rest to me and the R congressmen”.  Betcha some of those R congressmen were on McCarthy’s list of nominees for the Jan. 6 panel.  They’re all criminals. And traitors.

DOJ To IRS: ‘Release Trump’s Tax Returns’.  Of course, it’s not over yet:

Michael Stern, a former senior counsel for the House Office of General Counsel, told Politico Trump had options to stop the release of his returns.

“I think Trump will be given an opportunity to either file a new case or file something in this case in which he states his legal grounds for objecting to his tax returns being produced,” he said, adding: “It’s definitely not over yet.”

I don’t get it. One federal agency issues an order to another federal agency.  Why should Trump have any say at all?  Mnuchin isn’t there any more.

Biden, Congress, Allow Rent Moratorium To Expire.  And thanks to Stephanie Bolden, Delaware renters won’t even have legal assistance to help them.  Here’s how states without Stephanie Boldens impeding progress can help:

States can issue their own eviction moratoria, as many did earlier in the pandemic. A few states, like California and New Jersey, will keep eviction moratoria in place following Aug. 1. Courts could continue all eviction hearings until ERA programs have had enough time to reach families in need, and issue information about rental assistance directly to litigants. Governments could require landlords to pursue rental assistance or mediation prior to filing to evict the tenant for nonpayment of rent, as Philadelphia has done. States could require that courts not consider eviction cases for households that are waiting to hear back about rental assistance, a policy Minnesota and Oregon have put in place.

People need help, John. What will you do?

Speaking Of The Chicken Whisperer…:  …he’s ‘not considering’ any new mask mandates.  With Covid cases in Sussex and New Castle Counties rising, just what IS he considering, other than photo ops at the State Fair that is? I mean, shouldn’t he at least be thinking about something? Which reminds me: The ‘Christian recording artist’ who was supposed to headline the last night of the Delaware State Fair had to bow out–he got COVID.  Which raises the question: Why is a ‘Christian recording artist’ headlining an event that gets shitloads of state dollars?  Seems like a church/state issue to me.

What do you want to talk about?

    What the FUUUUUCK!!??

Taxes reveal the ENTIRE reason he was trying to overthrow the Republic. Jesus, Democrats, grow a fucking spine. fuck

What’s going to happen is Covid is going to spike everywhere and a lot of vaccinated people will be getting sick also enabling republicans to say the vaccine was a shame and those with a little less intelligence will start believing them allowing DumDum to rise back up and smirk saying I told you so while Democrats keep sitting on their thumbs

Maybe, but it appears being vaccinated lessens the effect of Delta even if it doesn’t stop it. So while lots of people will get it, the hospitalizations and deaths will be greatest in areas of low vaccination — at least, that’s the direction the data point in at the moment. The peak is expected in Sept.-Oct.

Wearing my mask, keeping my distance and first in line for a booster shot. Finger raised high to the clowns, hicks and dicks that refuse to get the shot. The disinformation spreaders should be made to stop and perhaps be charged with reckless endangerment just for fun. Start with arch asshole Tucker the Shmucker Carlson.

Some of the first big dominoes are starting to fall when it comes to mandating the vaccine. Companies are going to realize it isn’t only prudent and ethical, but for liability and productivity sake they just have to force employees to take it. When full approval comes, it’ll be like a tidal wave.
