McConnell Blesses Centrist Dems’ Attempt To Blow Up Two-Track Infrastructure Plan

WASHINGTON, DC – AUGUST 03: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (D-KY) (Kent Nishimura / Los Angeles Times via Getty Images)
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) cheered the attempt by some moderate Democrats in the House to decouple the two infrastructure bills, threatening the future of the Democrats’ sweeping reconciliation package.

“I wish the moderates in the House success,” McConnell said on Fox News Tuesday morning. “They want to split the infrastructure bill away from this massive $3.5-to-5 trillion reckless tax and spending bill, and deal with the two separately.”

You have to wonder what “moderation” and “centrist” means to GOP appeasers and fucking idiots like Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.), Carolyn Bourdeaux (D-Ga.), Filemon Vela (D-Texas), Jared Golden (D-Maine), Henry Cueller (D-Texas), Vicente Gonzales (D-Texas), Ed Case (D-Hawaii), Jim Costa (D-Calif.), and Kurt Schrader (D-Ore.) Chris Coons (D-DE)

Events overtook the story of the “centrists” and Pelosi passed the infrastructure bill along party lines.

On to the senate where Coons and the super secret bipartisan caucus can swing into inaction.

“Reckless tax and spending” describes congress as a whole, they have no intention of paying for anything and they all know there’s a strong chance they’ll be out of office by the time the excrement hits the fan. Of all the many gifts of the Reagan era perhaps the worst is when the politicians realized they could run astounding deficits and not be held accountable.

    • Deficits don’t matter. China’s deficit spending dwarfs ours. It’s what you spend it on that matters. The public coffers get very little return on that trillion-dollar-a-year investment we make in defense spending. They will get a great return on the infrastructure bill, which is why the Republicans don’t want it.

Wouldnt the law suit be against his parents? I know you go for the money, but the baby cant give consent, the parents did and this would be where the suit should be so i am sure itll be tossed against nirvana. but considering the way dave grohl is he’ll probably slide the guy some money even though the suit is baseless

      • Imagine having your peak moment at about 1 year old and trying to milk it the rest of your life.

        • The richest Americans mostly peaked at minute 1 of day 1.

(Americans) with inherited wealth of more than $50 million, sits 7 percent of America’s 400 richest. Last but not least, is the “born on home plate” crowd. These high-rollers, 21.25 percent of the total Forbes list, all inherited enough to “earn” their Forbes 400 status.

Trump in a 20-way tie for 339th. Would enjoy having him back on Twitter for a day.

I read that as “same sex marriage being approved in the Vatican.” Need reading glasses.
