RWNJ martyr Ashli Babbitt is the answer to the question, “How many of these kosplay kkkomandos have to die before the rest stand down?” and finally someone in the mainstream media has put a fine point on it: Her death was a turning point in the Jan. 6 Putsch.
Babbitt crossed a line that had been clearly delineated. The police obviously felt it was a last stand. The potential danger was obvious. Babbitt’s shooting appears to have stopped the forward movement of the crowd. … Could the mob possibly have been stopped without Babbitt’s death? Maybe. Perhaps there was a way to have avoided deadly force. But it’s not clear to me what that way would have been — and it is clear that if Babbitt had gone through that doorway, an out-of-control situation would have deteriorated further.
Meanwhile, the Capitol police officer who shot her was left unnamed for his safety, but he’s going public in an interview with Lester Holt.
Here’s something our war-loving media can’t explain: No Americans have been killed in the evacuation of Afghanistan, so why is it supposed to be a monumental fuck-up? All part of the media’s “liberal” bias, I suppose. Even the watchdog watchers at the Columbia Journalism Review have noticed.
Thousand of bikers converged on Sturgis, S.D., a couple of weeks back, and naturally Covid cases there have rocketed. I’ve checked the photos — nobody wore a mask, and nobody wasn’t old, fat or both.
Elsewhere in the death cult, Gov. Florida Man is finding his expose-’em-all strategy isn’t as popular as he might have hoped, though it gets thumbs up from Florida Republicans. I don’t mind that they want to die, I mind that they’re clogging up the emergency rooms to do it. Just use your guns, patriots!

Speaking of shitbags, this grandstanding “Democratic” congressman flew to Afghanistan, a stunt quickly called out as such even by our fawning mainstream media. The lesson: When Democrats brag that their latest candidate is a veteran, be sure to vote against him in the primary.
Speaking of shitbags closer to home, perennial Republican loser Lee Murphy is running for Congress again.

Mike Pence was protected by several armed and trained Secret Service agents with the sole mission of keeping him safe. Had Pence been cornered, there would have been a dozen or more dead Trumpa-Loopas and Pence would have continued to safety. Pelosi, AOC and other unprotected Congresspeople not so much.

“A former Delaware political candidate who ran multiple unsuccessful Republican primary campaigns for state and local office pleaded guilty Wednesday to mailing death threats to his ex-wife’s attorney, the U.S. Department of Justice said.
According to court documents and the Justice Department, 63-year-old Michael Protack mailed the first letter in January, which began with “the VIPERs are coming for you.”
The letter went on to say the VIPERs – which may refer to a veteran’s organization, though it is not clear from court documents – have military experience and “no fear of the outcome.”
“You are a coward who will regret his actions,” the letter said. “Count on being dead by June 2021. You won’t know when, where, or how, but your end has been written. Take the time and put your affairs in order because they will not find your body for weeks.”

Back in the day Republicans used to tell me stories about the weird way he’d act at party gatherings. Everyone else was hobnobbing — these are politicians, gladhanding is something most of them like — but Protack and his wife would sit, silent and alone, glaring at everyone else. That guy was fucked up seven ways from Sunday.
I picture Protack shaking his fist at the TV in an apartment furnished with lawn chairs surrounded by hundreds of empty miniature bottles.
