MAJOR Upgrade Coming To Delaware General Assembly!

Filed in Delaware, Featured by on January 19, 2022

Some items just won’t keep until the Weekly Political Update.  Like THIS one:

Kerri Evelyn Harris has announced her candidacy for the 32nd RD seat currently held by Andria Bennett!

Bennett has said that she would not run for reelection, but she is untrustworthy.  In fact, she should be leaving office now since she’s deep into double-dipper status.

I’ll say it right now: Nobody is beating Kerri for that seat. So, not only are you getting rid of a Kop Kabal supporter and Chamber of Commerce groupie, you are replacing her with arguably the best possible progressive addition that you could make to the body as a whole.

It’s after noon. I hereby grant you permission to lift a toast to celebrate this news.  This is big.

    Massive. 100% agree with Steve. (I mean , I would, wouldn’t I?)

This is a dream scenario. Proven leader committed to the community. See what’s happening?

I’m going to out to celebrate. Just need a Spurs win at Leicester to cap off the great day.

To be clear – did she announce or file? It is a quibble, I know.

Also,I don’t think Pete it going to lose a vote for his speakership without a fight. I see him pressuring Bennett to stay or finding some dipshit to carry his water.

      • He’s not gonna find someone in that district to beat Harris. Bennett never had a credible challenger. She’s history.

Of COURSE the Kop Kabal is not giving up without a fight. But they lost quite a bit of ground last time, and they’re 99% guaranteed to lose this seat.

It all comes down to candidate recruitment, training, and grassroots from the likes of us. We’re a big step closer due to this development.

    • If she filed, it’s not up on the Department of Elections site yet. However, her Twitter lists her as ‘Candidate For 32nd Rep. District’

Dept. Elections web site refreshes to 1/10/22 am I doing it wrong?

It will be nice for Sean Lynn to have someone that can drive the Dover area nuts even crazier than they already are.

Check the Tottenham result for a good omen. Great vibes.

    Left is best.

WOW!! I might go from one of the worst reps to potentially one of the best! Dover Strong!!
