Rich Collins (41st RD) IS a Dangerous MAGA Extremist
Nobody likes this series except me. Anyway, Onward. Collins replied but couldn’t say whether or not the Jan 6th rioters committed any crimes. Nor could he think of anything witty to say in lieu of giving a simple yes or no. (See his email to me below). I thought of all the dangerous MAGA Extremist in LEG Hall, Collins might have the balls to admit that he is a proud MAGA Republican. Turns out – nope.
So if you live in the dreadful 41st RD you are represented by a cowardly dummy who is also a dangerous MAGA extremist. Which is probably no surprise to you.

I take your comment to mean that you can’t reply “yes” to any of the questions and therefore I’ll have to assume that you are one of the dangerous MAGA extremists that the President has warned us about.

Hi Rich,
As you know, President Joe Biden recently enlisted all Americans who believe in democracy to be on guard against “Extreme MAGA Republicans” who don’t simply threaten our personal and economic rights, they embrace political violence. The President noted that MAGA extremists “refuse to accept the will of the people,” and said “they threaten our very democracy.”
At DelawareLiberal.net we are eager to find which DEGOP elected officials are “extremist MAGA Republicans” and which are regular Republicans.
So if you could please respond to the very simple questionnaire below we would sincerely appreciate it.
BTW –
You may be gratified to hear that 100% of the Republican State Reps who have relied so far are NOT MAGA extremists.

Full well admit I had to look up Delaware’s 41st district, upon enlightenment was anything but amazed that it was in deepest, darkest Sussex and no doubt immersed in corn. My only surprise being it was not further to the west.
He replaced Pete’s police groupie, John Atkins.
Can you imagine being so mentally-unbalanced that not even the cops would take you?
Several years ago I attended a Chamber of Commerce function where Mr. Collins was the guest speaker. At this event he specifically referenced the Mises Institute as a source of his policy opinions.
His response to those who expressed concern about the residential development in his district was that he was a proponent of property rights and for those who have a problem with traffic congestion that they not add to it during busy periods and simply avoid it.

When President Biden called on all Americans who love democracy to be vigilant and protect that republic from MAGA extremists, he also said that he was not talking about “all Republicans”.
I think it is only fair to give normal Republicans a chance to distance themselves from MAGA extremism. I doubt many (beyond the ones who have already) will.
Any confrontation is good confrontation.

I spoke with Mr DiPasquale and found him to be well grounded and principled. I tried to persuade him to run as a Democrat and referred him to the 41st Representative District Dems. They didn’t find he “met our needs”. Of course they failed to run anyone.
I think Joe would be a fine legislator and a great replacement of Rich Collins. Of course, it much of a bar as Collins is the worst member of the General Assembly
