Delaware State Sportsman’s Association Statement on U.S. Capitol Police Preventing Assault Rifle from Getting to Capitol Hill

This morning the jack-booted thugs of the United States Capitol Police (USCP) trampled on our traditions and freedom as well as the Second Amendment by stopping a so-called “assault rifle”, with an extended magazine, before it reached the Capitol.
Just after 5:00 a.m, a lawless USCP screening team spotted the gun, which was partially wrapped in a blanket in the back seat of a large Ford pick-up truck. The sporting rifle was wrongfully confiscated and delivered to a deep state off-site facility.
Although our thoughts and prayers go out to the owner of the illegally confiscated sporting assault weapon, our sadness will not slow us down. We will not rest until all guns can be brandished by anyone, anywhere in this once great land.
Brazen infringement.
Yikes! Let us all now worship the precious gun! I gave up on gun control after Sandy Hook and admit it, the slaughter that has ensued since is just a reminder that guns kill, and never ” keep you safe”. Must admit I much prefer the definition of the second amendment that applied before the supreme court “discovered” a protected right to own a gun. Read the second amendment, it is perhaps the least complicated of all the amendments, until the supreme court got into the act.
