Moribund State Party Tries To Raise Funds Off Carper’s Retirement

Took longer than I expected, but, yes, this showed up in my e-mail just now:

Kyle,  (Yes, looks like I am now and forever Kyle)

This week, our esteemed Senator Tom Carper announced his plans to not seek re-election to the U.S. Senate in 2024, marking the end of an era in Delaware politics.

Senator Carper has dedicated over four decades to serving the First State and fighting for the values we hold dear. From his early days as State Treasurer to his influential role in shaping Delaware’s politics and policymaking, his commitment to our community is unparalleled. We owe him a debt of gratitude for his unwavering dedication.

Now, as we bid farewell to Senator Carper, it is crucial that we continue his legacy of Democratic leadership by ensuring that his Senate seat remains in capable hands. With a razor-thin majority in the U.S. Senate, we cannot afford to cede any ground to Republicans in the upcoming 2024 elections. We need to maintain our strength and support President Biden’s vision for a better future.

That is why we are turning to you, our valued supporters, in this critical time. Your unwavering dedication and generous contributions have always been the backbone of our party’s success. Please make a contribution today to help us secure Delaware’s blue legacy and elect a worthy successor to Senator Tom Carper.

Thank you,

Betsy Maron

Any contribution I may, or may not make, will be going to candidates, not this irrelevant State Party.  Frankly it, and they, are an embarrassment.

With his successor hand picked and already at joann fabrics picking out new curtain material for her office, what do they need to fundraise for?

Two ‘unwavering dedication’s in the same release. Plus a third ‘dedication’.

And he did it all pro bono. Wait, what, he didn’t?

My wavering dedication to the state party continues to waver.

And some wiseguy had the nerve to throw shade at WFP yesterday. All I can say is thank Sky Dad, Baal or whatever that we have the WFP here in Delaware.

      Yeah, saw that, trashed it.

There was a kernel of truth in it, though. Once they win enough seats, they do, indeed, become the establishment. The progressive establishment. As opposed to the corporate-bankrolled establishment we have now, particularly in the Governor’s office.

Anybody got a problem with that?

I stand ready to send them a quarter, if for no other reason then to see who the hell cares.

Before the vaccines were announced, Carper held $RMD, $APO, and $OHI.

On 07/09 he sold his positions in $RMD, $APO, $OHI.

Two weeks later, $RMD drops 15% on vaccine news (no need for ventilators), $APO / $OHI 10-20% over 3 months.

Now all down significantly since then.

Senator Thomas Carper bought up to $110k in Ranger Equity Bear Bear ETF, $HDGE, as well as $SH, and $PSQ, more short ETFs.

He sits on the Senate Finance Committee.

As a politician, he was actively shorting the US, and was up significantly, selling all three for large gains.

We should gift him a set of tarot cards and a booth at the New Castle Farmers Market, and he could use his retirement to help his constituents enjoy his prosperity:)

Need a third world indicator? Politicians retiring much richer then when they were when first elected is as good as it gets, even better they now barely try to hide it.
